I tried installing the RPM driver(i am typing from memory, as i am in WINDOWS@!#!#) 2.4.18 i686, and kppp will just say initializing like forever, never dialing. I have been searching for an updated driver, but haven't found one. This one worked fine in Mandrake 8.2. All of my settings in kppp are the same, and when I query the modem, it says "modem ready." Back to driver hunting.... justlinux.com
