Okay,
I have three errors in my /var/log/messages on my SuSE 7.3 box that I do not understand:
1)
Oct 5 00:16:02 zola afpd[1247]: dsi_stream_write: Broken pipe
This is not too important because I upgraded my Macs to Jaguar which means I no longer have to use AppleTalk. With the Deamon turned off, I no longer get the error (Duh!).
2)
Oct 7 14:24:03 zola master[410]: about to
exec /usr/cyrus/bin/ctl_deliver
Oct 7 14:24:03 zola ctl_deliver[410]: duplicate_prune: pruning back 3 days
Oct 7 14:24:03 zola ctl_deliver[410]: duplicate_prune: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-a.db: purged 0 out of 0 entries
(...Repeated about 25 times...)
Oct 7 14:24:04 zola ctl_deliver[410]: duplicate_prune: /var/imap/deliverdb/deliver-z.db: purged 0 out of 0 entries
Oct 7 14:24:04 zola master[348]: process 410 exited, status 0
What does that mean? How can I fix it?

Oct 6 06:15:09 zola inetd[1041]: mysql/tcp (2): bind: Address already in use
Okay, so mysql is trying to take an already-taken port. How can I find out a) which port, b) which service already has it, and c) how to fix it?
The computer runs fine per se, but the network dies randomly, requiring a reboot. Sometimes it's up for two minutes, sometimes two days. I swapped the network card, so I know it's not that.
