I was just wondering how can I check to see if my drivers are all working properly.

Is your box doing everything you want? Yes? Then it's fine, don't worry about it.

Linux is not like Windows -- if something doesn't work in Linux, it doesn't work. At all (generally).

What makes you think something's not working right?

I still can't seem to get around Quake crashing unless I have the sound disabled. UT works perfect every other sound file works, exept for the sound in quake III arena. Its very disturbing, and its consuming my life.

Unfortunately, that wasn't the problem (you aren't using the same sound card). So I don't know...

If anyone else is interested in what we're talking about, the thread is here:

Everything that I have read displays support for my sound environment.(Sis7012) This includes OSS and alsa drivers.( If Redhat did in fact install them.) I will try sndconfig this time in su mode;) and if that doesn't work I will try installing the latest point releases. It just doesn't seem possible that the patches could be the problem. Never assume I guess:rolleyes:
