Here's a head scratcher from a Linux Newbie...

My 3d performance in Windows always shot up after installing the latest agp chipset drivers for my motherboard (SIS735 based K7S5A from Elitegroup).

Is there a Linux equivilent for this?

Well there is some sis chipset support in the kernel which may or may not be enabled by default in your distro.
