KPPP - Modem Dialup Problems

Hi,

I am new to Linux and was hoping somebody could help with my modem configuration on Suse Linux 7.1. It is a Lucent winmodem (sorry!!), and I configured it correctly by compiling the Linmodem routines.

On connection to my ISP using the KDE dialer applications it dials, connects, verifies my user name and password, says that I have connected properly but the modem disconnects with a signal 15...

I cannot figure out what I should do from here or if I should change my modem.

Any ideas would be very helpful.
