Hi, I recently acquired an old laptop from the military (for free of course). Its an old dell with a 133 proc and about 16 megs of ram. It also has a 2 gig hdd.
I was wondering which distro I should use. After all, I would hate to put windows on my nice, not-so-new laptop.
Much thanx from YAN (yet another newbie, if you couldn't guess) ^_^

You are going to need more memory unless you run an old distro.

I suggest loading it as full as you can with memory.

Distro Watch (http://www.distrowatch.com/)

The LWN.net Linux Distribution List (http://old.lwn.net/Distributions/)
