Here's a strange one...
Most of the kde apps I try to start, as well as the open/save dialogs in the few apps that do work ottherwise, have the entire window taken up by one button. The whole window , except for the menu bar, is one solid color that changes shades when I move the mouse over it, just like a button.
Wherever I hover the mouse in the window, except for the toolbar, I get a tooltip for the button in question(different for each app) and if I click in that area, the action takes place that the tooltip specified.
I have no Idea how to fix this, I've try uninstalling kde and reinstalling it, to no avail.
I'm thinking though, that maybe it's a qt problem, as I didn't remove qt when I uninstalled kde, and doesn't kde get all its widget/button parameters from qt?
