I am curious, can anyone tell me if Corel Linux has the option of installing to a Windows partition/file system? I currently run PhatLinux in this manner, but I'm really looking for something more professional, without having to mess up my Windows OS.

Furthermore, can anyone suggest any other Linux distributions that offer the same option, besides PhatLinux?

Many thanks.

Slackware lets you do it. And it's a really bad idea. UMSDOS installs are slow and messy. Plus there's no risk of mashing your Windows install. Just use Partition Magic to shrink your Windows partition and put a proper Linux install in the space it frees up.

Yup. Besides, then you get all the joys of an ext2 filesystem, lilo, and dualbooting.

Seriously, though, It's more than worth any risk. Nothing like playing around with the real thing!
