Linux LILO disaster ..HELP !!!

I've got Win 2000 and Linux on a dual boot ....I don't know how it happened , but at boot-up all I get is .. LI ...and a "blinking" cursor ..... not LILO but just LI .....my master boot record is "torked" ....what do I do ????? I've tried a boot floppy to FDISK but it starts to read the floppy and then ..... LI ....and yes I've set my BIOS to boot from A ..... fortunately I love messing with things like this so ...guide me ..... THX

If you aren't on RedHat (good for you) then just boot up off whichever install CD you have in the way you usually do.

That's odd. Your boot disk should not be acting up like that. The chances of your boot disk getting messed up in the _exact_ same way are rather slim.
