KDE or GNOME??

What the desktop environment you think is the best (appearance, easy to use, easy to change.. etc etc)? I'm unable to make up my mind... :p

I like KDE alot better... I find it the most visually appealing, and there's tons of styles and themes you can install for it.

i personally on the other hand like gnome the best.
it does what it's supposed to without having to much of the theme thing...in some way, it's more simple (maybe not too much) but just feel comfortable with it :p

Try using each one for a week or 2 straight. You'll know which one you prefer after that. I used each for a week and chose gnome. KDE is pretty, but seemed a little sluggish (even with 384MB ram), buggy, and I didn't like the way the mouse cursor moved even after countless adjustments. Gnome seems more responsive to me, and is still way customizable.

I say...if you know what you are doing and can do it...just use a window manager...heh
