I am a HP laptop running RH 8.0 and i was wondering why it is slow sluggish... It is a Duron 1100mhz with 256meg ram. I have the swap file at twice the memory size but it never uses any of it. When I first boot up without running any programs my memory is at 80%..is this normal? When i run the tux race it is harder than snot to control...not to mention jumpy..is there anyway to rememdy these problems?
once i get my pc im going to install RH on that..but for the next month or so this is all and i have and is driving me crazy.. please help..
