just saw this at 8:00 this morning. Gotta go to school but I figured some people might like to read it or patch more security holes in thier server. Just trying to help out.

Thanks for posting. The worm has been around for a while, as have the patches for it. You can subscribe at linuxsecurity.org for alerts as soon as they come out, and also get on your distro's list to be alerted when any patches come out.

Please don't take this wrong, I'm glad you're sharing. Just wanted to let you know where you might get alerted to these little s'kiddie tricks quicker.

Thanks I'm not offended in the least. I'm not used to viruses for linux servers. Honestly I don't have a static IP so I never tried serving and I don't know anyone who will let me play with their servers. Oh well. I figured I was helping out when I found the alert but it appears that you all are on the ball with a faster source of information than I am. But thanks for letting me in on it.:D ;)

naa. I don't very many people with a need for this information. I just put the information where everyone can see it. I'm really not fond of chain letters and I sometimes make incredably stupid ones to send to people who always bug me with them.

Hi I'm little timmy from Alaska and I'm fatally Ill from a computer virus that I caught. Bill Gates says that he will send me the anti virus if I can get one million people to read this letter and then buy his latest operating system microsoft S.U.X. Which has intergrated Microsoft xp and its Sp1 (Service pack) as well as new Utilities that no one uses or needs.

Plz send this to everyone in your address book or little timmy gets it.;) :p
