onboard sound?

i have an asus a7m266-d board and putting RH 7.2 in there will onboard sound be a detection prob? didnt have much luck in doing a search

It depends on the actual sound chipset used by the onboard sound card. Redhat may or may not have the driver module bundled for that chipset. But after the driver module is installed, the autodetect fetures usually work quite well.
