I have been perusing the latest BIND documentation for a feature which may or may not exist.
The process of configuring the secondary, tertierary, etc. slave servers for receiving updates is relatively straight forward. What I am unable to comprehend is a method for copying over the primary server's named.conf file containing the latest zone entries.
I understand this is relatively complex considering the slave's must have slave references as well as master references under each zone entry, however, it seems as though this is something someone has needed somewhere down the line and there is perhaps a solution?
A temporary solution is to make a manually entry in each slave's named.conf file, however, this is tedious when hundreds of entries are to be dealt with weekly.
Any input would be appreciated.
