TV Out on Geforce 2 mx 400

I have a Geforce 2 mx 400 card with tv out .. and i have the necessary cable for connecting it to a tv ... the tv is a 27" Sharp

1) what kind of resolution can i get with that
2) does xfree86 work well with tv out

My current monitor is dying .... the top right corner of the screen shows pink or ... brown can't really tell

I sometimes use my tnt2 card tv out feature resolution is 800x600 it work's fine with small program called "nvtv" that enables my tv-out.
But my opinion is that tv is not suitable for "only" monitor you need (new?) real screen.

I assume you have the Nvidia drivers installed and set up. On the site where you get the drivers Nvidia has a really nice manual, about 100 pages, on all the tweaking you need to do to get the most out of your card in linux. One of the sections covers what you need to do to get the TV out working at its best.
