I don't want to host my own website so I'd like to know what your favorite web hosting company is. Basically, I'm looking for 200-500MB of space, good customer service, audio/video (like real audio), preferably linux/bsd-based with IMAP mail. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Ok, so, the best solution is just to host it yourself. But if you really don't want to check out rackspace.
P.S. What are you gonna do with 500 MB?!?! Most sites are about 1-5 megabytes!
Myself and a few friends are on vilitas.com (http://www.vilitas.com) and its just about the best hosting package I've run across. Hosted on FreeBSD / Apache servers, the base account for $9. a month includes 10GB traffic, 200MB disk space, 200MB SQL space (100MB MySQL, 100MB Postgresql), multiple emails, multiple FTP access, PHP, CGI, 3 domains and unlimited sub-domains. You can also request shell access and get full logging / webalizer support for traffic. Support is damn good, you'll get an answer from a live person, pretty quickly also. The control panel is very elaborate and you can also just use FTP or Shell access.
I may sound like an ad, but I don't think you'll run across a better deal.

My site is hosted at (http://www.dynastyhost.com) and I have 500MB space, 10GB data transfor, unlimated pop3,MySQL,ftp, etc accounts. 20 subdomains and there servers run pretty fast, when I have had a problem there service has been super fast to reply and fix it. I would reccomand them to you!

http://www.UCVHost.com , in India, of all places!
PHP, Mysql, pop3 mail, etc. etc., around 3€ per month!
I use, they're fine (except they use PLESK 2.5, which is bloody awful as a control panel...)
No problems.
