I'm noodling around with a small home lab. I have three PCs that dual boot Windows/Linux and an old Compaq 486 server with 4 scsi drives I plan to load Red Hat on and turn into a file and print server. The reason I have the PCs dual boot between the two OSes is to play with the mixed networking environment. I know that a Samba server will work and play well with Windows files and I think that the Linux machines will also work with the Samba server, but I'm not sure. Can someone help clarify my understanding here? Thanks.
