actually, this bb is pretty dead. And to be honest, though I like this site, there are alot better sites to get your linux questions answered. (The newsgroups still rule in that respect)

The articles here are pretty good, though.

I think the problem is that linux "gurus" don't come to a site like this. Most of them hang out in the newsgroups and hold a bit of distain for sites like this that try to be "newsgroups on the web". They just say "why not just use the real newsgroups. They get more traffic and they got no adds or censors"

The problem with that is that alot of internet users don't even know that the newsgroups exist. So I come here and try to answer what I can.

But, really, you want answers, download a good newsreader and go exploring. get PAN for Linux or free Agent for windows.
