I dunno how to fix this, I've read the page here about mounting the NTFS drive, and SuSe does have an entry in fstab but the line has /windows/c. as my NTFS partition, so I created a /windows directory, changed fstab to that and mounted it, but it's locked, and I don't know how to "unlock" it. It's a freshly installed SuSe 8 system, and I'd rather not break it and spend another 3 hours installing it (by ftp mind you) heh.

Haven't you already asked this question in another thread in General and also received a few suggestions?

I didn't ask this exactly, I mentioned it, and some of the nice people have given me some suggestions yes. You can delete this thread if you feel it's not needed. Sorry.

Did those suggestions solve your problem?

Nope :(

That's why I posted this here, figuring this was the proper forum to ask that kind of question. I also figured if anyone was gonna offer help in the other forum, they'd tell me to post it here lol

You created a new mountpoint for the ntfs partition, but did you umount the old before mounting the new?

What is the exact message you are getting?
