Ok so I was trying to install a screensaver. I extracted the package to a temp dir and did ./configure as root. A bunch of stuff happens and then I get the following error:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.3) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

I then entered package manager and everything I could find with Qt in it shows as being installed. So now I'm kind of at a loss....can someone point me in the right direction? TIA...

qt-devel or qt3-devel should be what you're looking for.

That's the kde library. Install the kde developmental packages and that should cover it.
