Hi,,
setting up a ppp dial-in server on a RH6.0 box.
I have recompiled/install mgetty with the AutoPPP option. I have also recompiled/install ppp with the HAS_SHADOW option for shadow passwords.
I can dial-in from an NT box if I open up a terminal window on connection and type in my username/password then start ppp OK.
If I try and do it the normal way by putting my username/password in the dial-up networking boxes in windows, it won't authenticate...
I can see mgetty is starting up the AUTOppp from /usr/local/etc/mgetty???/login.config
Any ideas ???
Anybody used this before...
Don't want to start a riot but this takes 5mins to set up in NT Server !!!!!!
Help...
cheers
