In case nobody has ever heard of abandon-ware, here is a good site that keeps old things alive (http://www.the-underdogs.org/index.php) called The Underdogs.

They have tons of old DOS games that have been deemed "Abandoned" and are now freely available...lots of classic gems here:cool:

Even though Abandon-ware is shady in the legal status, I find that keeping old, unsupported and no longer manufactured games alive. These are where true game-play shines

If the mods find this to be inappropriate and too closely related to warez, please feel free to remove this post

Game on!

I wouldn't say 100%, but they do respect anyone that tells them to pull the stuff off and they ask for permission from the companies...which is very cool.

I found Neuromancer there and was thrilled, I've been trying to find that game for the last 15 years :D

I have gotten dosemu to work fine with dos 6.22
and floppy, cdrom etc,
only problem is when trying to run the first
of my fave games "Return to Zork " it
got thru the intro ok, but when
actually starting the program I got a SIGSEGV error
and exited out of dosemu
I spent 3 hrs on Google searching for this
and a few possibilities exist:
- Game tries to go into protected mode (is that
the same as 4GW?) and dosemu doesnt
support that.
- I'm somehow allowing dosemu to run it's
system.com (how do I stop this)
- Somehow the stack access isn't set right
(is it possible to correct this)?

thanks
