My wife and I currently have an old Cyrix 586-100 64Mb RAM computer that I am using as a router running freesco. It is also serving as a rudimentary web server for her Home Business's web site. Now, she is wanting to add a bulletin board to the equation (for a school group she is a member of). The Hard Drive in this machine is too small for me to load Linux with Apache and PHP4 and mySQL and the bulletin board software.

My question is: Can I use my personal Linux box for this AND still be able to use it for my own personal use? My system is: PII 350Mhz, 128 Mb RAM, 32 Gb Maxtor. I'm running RedHat7.3, and will have to add Apache, PHP4, mySQL, phpBB2, and everything else that is necessary for the box to function as a router (IPMASQ, iptables, or whatever else).

TIA

I just run the webserver on your faster box, port forward the requestes from your freesco box. It's been awhile since I played with freesco, I think it can do port forwarding.
