hi,
after 30min. playing tucracer I've done the Canadian Cup and curved around on the practise maps and now my question is
where can I get new maps or find an editor where I can create maps and are there some cool links concerning TuxRacer?

hi,
just wanted to say that over the last few days I found the sunspirestudios site which developed TuxRacer form the beginning and read there that there are generally speaking 2 versions of TuxRacer the Demo (version 0.61) which is shipped with every distribution of Linux and the Full Version (1.00) which costs ca. $19.
Further on I read that there is actually no editor for v1.00 and anyway I'd never BUY a game so this case can be forgotten but for 0.61 you can make maps on your own with GIMP.
As I know GIMP is a painting programm so how can I make maps with it??
Is threre a tutorial about it?
thx for any --help!

The official course editor for TuxRacer is, indeed, the Gimp.
There are tutorials somewhere... hmmm...
