This is what I see if I hit Debug from the Configuration screen: (Using Gnome-RH 6.1)

WV Dial:Internet Dialer Version 1.4
Initializing Modem
Sending: ATZ
ATZ
OK
Modem Initialized
Sending: ATDT (ISP'S #)
Waiting for Carrier
ATDT (ISP'S #)
Welcome To ISP's Dial-UP Service
Server Name login:

But it just sits there it doesn't actually connect. PPP doesn't launch. It just waits. I am relatively new to using Linux. I have taken advice and added nameservers to resolv.cfg and tried setting WV on "Stupid Mode." This didn't work. I would appreciate any help.
Thanks

I'm having the same problem with Caldera 2.3 except mine says PPP Daemon died unexpectantly. I think I've tried just about everything in the book and it is probably something very simple. We're in the same boat here. Maybe someone will respond with an answer for you that will also solve my problem.
