login help

im running rh 7.3 and chose kde as my default desktop. now ive installed enlightenment but im still using the kwin login how do i change this. i would like to use whatever as long as its not kwin and its graphical in nature

Try opening an x terminal and typing switchdesk enlightenment.

will this permantely change the default wm? i can log in to thru kwins login screen but the problem is kwin login automatically starts on boot which would be fine except that it crashes my sound so i just want to not boot with kwin.

Try changing the default in ~/.xinitrc
