I installed Windowmaker recently and am looking forward to trying it out. However, now that it has been successfully installed, i cannot select it when I logon to Linux.

The options for KDE and Gnome are there as well as Failsafe but there is no selection for Windowmaker. Do I have to do any futher configuration to make Windowmaker available? If so, what?

I have compiled it and gone through the install and did not encounter any problems. I just can't get at it now.

Any simple help would be appreciated. I'm still learning.

I'm running Red Hat 7.3, by the way.

ok, i recently did this with enlightenment on 7.3 im not on my comp right now but it was something like i think control panel (im assuming that kde is your default thingy if not should be similar) then from there find login manager or something that is like that(cant quite remember) but once you get there you can enter a new path for a new login. for example mine was something like /usr/local/enlightenment/... just find where the binary installed to. then when you restart it will be an option because if kde is your default desktop then the wm kwin does your gui login.

Thanks, I will try that-- In a few days. I am in the process of moving and right now my computer is packed.

But yeah, I am running KDE as default, so it sounds like that should work.
