Disappearing windows in GNOME

I just installed RH 7.2 the other day. Using Gnome I started customizing my panel adding drawers, applets, and the like. Now if I minimize an app or anything
it disappears. Its not on the panel or anywhere I can find. What option might I have checked to cause this and how do I fix it?

make sure on your gnome panel you have the "Gnome Tasklist" I think that's what you're referring too.
