kde autostart icon

yo, does anyone know how 2 disable the autostart folder icon from appearing on the desktop. it keeps on appearing after i delete it on the previous session.

have you tried renaming with a "." (without the quotes, of course) if front of it?

it didn't work. instead a new autostart is created on restart.
