Microsoft has stopped distributing their web core fonts free of charge, so many distro utilities and other related shell scripts that automate the downloading of the fonts will NOT work.

However, they are available here (http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/). I suggest you download it and store it somewhere before MS goes after them.

Microsoft won't go after them, because fortunately, the EULA for the fonts states that the original .exe file can be freely distributed anywhere, by anyone.

Debian has removed them from their distro. We need some good free open-source fonts.
