Since I finally got some time on my hands now, i am working on making my own theme for Fluxbox, since it seems noone tells me how to do it (everywhere it says 'get a theme and modify it to your tastes) I might be missing some 'features'. From what I've managed to find out in the themes I have, the gradients are:
vertical
horizontal
diagonal
crossdiagonal
elliptic
rectangle
pyramid
crosspipe
What I want to know is if I am missing any other gradients... I don't wanna end up making a theme without knowing all the possibilities for it. Did I have them all?

Intensity
Saturate
Contrast
Hue Shift

That's strange.. I can't see any difference when I try those. But.. are those really gradients? From what I know, Intensity, Saturate, Contrast and HueShift sound more like a background-blending mode rather than a color gradient (in other words, they sound like modes used for 'transparencies' more than solid gradients. Hmm.. wished I could have found some place where they would instruct me on these themes.

Oh, you wanted "Solid" gradients? Never seen such a thing. Sorry.

Hehehe.... oops.
When I said solid I meant solid in the alpha value, not in the r,g,b ones. Oh well, does not matters, I already finished my own theme using just the vertical and horizontal ones. The other styles are rather neat... but they didn't really appeal to me at the end. And 'interlaced' for menu's rock, they make the menu look so.... neat.

Fancy... yesterday I read the manual for Fluxbox, and I did have all the possible gradients written down. Which must mean.... "someone" was playing a joke with me. Either that or I have a really outdated Fluxbox version (which it cannot be considering I just downloaded the source a few days ago). Oh well, can't believe everything people tell you. Just trust the man! I mean, the man pages.

If you want a nice graphical way of creating a theme you could always use bbconf (http://bbconf.sourceforge.net/) .
It does alot more than just themes too.

For the joking part... well, as I said, those four types of gradients are non-existant in Fluxbox. No harm done there... I wonder if they exist for Blackbox and not for Fluxbox or some other 'explanation' to it.
As for BBconf... since Fluxbox is based on Blackbox, I hope it'll work as well. I am downloading it right now, hopefully it'll allow to complete my Fluxbox configuration and that would be awesome.

I didn't understand your original statement that you were "ONLY" looking for fluxbox configured gradients. My response was to the term gradients, not a specific app. Sorry.:(

It has worked fine for me so far with fluxbox although I haven't used it since I installed version 0.1.10. But, I'm assuming it should work.
