I would like to install Red hat 7.3 on a Dell GX110 with plenty of ram and hd space. My question is should I just clear the entire hd with fdisk and give an entire partition to Linux? Thanks

As Baragon0 already said, it is actually entirely up to you.

If you do not feel the need to dual/multi boot, then by all means dedicate the entire pc to Linux.
