DNS Confirmation

I've just installed 7.3 server and I'm attempting to configure DNS for this system and my existing w2k network. I'd like to go ahead and set this up as a secondary to my existing primary. In adding this to the bind config tool, do I modify the existing localhost or just add a slave zone? I know it's simple, but there's side of my brain that's still asleep.
