Hello all! I have an HP ZT1150 laptop with a 40GB HD. Everything works under 'drake 8.2...except sound. I checked the default XP install, and it says it's using AC'97 drivers...
I know this must be a no-brainer, but it was bugging me for 3 months, no matter what driver I tried...the problem is temporarily fixed, as I dropped my laptop and screwed up my harddrive...since I just loaded a new HD with windows and haven't partitioned it out for linux yet, no linux, no linux sound problems! (for the short run)
