When I was vacuuming the insides of my computer I changed the IDE connections of my Burner and DVD. Now when I restart Linux it stops and says: Kernel Panic
couldnt find FS or something like that.
Any suggestions?

Changing your IDE configuration will change the /dev/hdx designation of your devices, although unless you also moved a hard drive I'm not sure why the system would panic at boot. Put the drives back the way they were and see if the panic disappears.

How did vacuuming change the ide connections?

I can understand steam cleaning doing this, but not plain vacuuming. ;)

What were the ide connections prior to the change and what are they now?

You can try booting from a rescue disk and have a look at /etc/fstab and change what is necessary.

I agree with DMR as unless you changed your boot device (HDD), I don't see why your kernel should panic.
