Hi,
few weeks ago I had to reboot my Redhat 7.2 server. The problem was that the 'kswapd' process was causing a very high load. The server literally stopped responding. Till then the server was up for more than 60 days.
It happened again today. The server was hung. I was not able to login. I had to turn it off and restart.
The cpu is intel celeron 800 Mhz, 256 MB RAM, SWAP 511 MB.
Oracle 9i is running on the server. I have checked the system logs but didnt notice anything unusual.
I really need HELP!!!!!
