I've been reading your site for a little while here now and this is my first post.

I've been trying to find a reliable Linux app to use to tunnel through a proxy server using SSH2 to a private 10 dot network. I'm currently running Red Hat 7.1 and am using a Beta Linux version of Aventail Connect to tunnel through a proxy server via telnet, but it appears from reading other folks trying to use Aventail Connect, ssh isn't going to work.

I've been looking through freshmeat to see what's out there, but being a newbie, I'm not sure which ones are crap and which ones are gold.

Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

I think this is for doing some NFS stuff through SSH. Doesn't look like it'd work out.

Oh, I think any sort of proxy'ing program that works with ssh2 would work. I think the problem lies with my Aventail Connect program further encrypting the already encrypted SSH connection. It's so encrypted it doesn't work somehow. That's just a guess though.
