I am currently running linux as a file server for Unigraphics, but just last night it crash and BURNED it completely shutdown. When i tried to boot it up again this morning it recognizes all the drives but it show nothing to boot from. SOOO I tried to reinstall Linux but when i get to the partitioning screen it says "I cannot read one or more of the current partitions they may be corrupted or unreadable" HOW DO I GET AROUND THIS???????????

What do you mean by crashed and burned?
Do you have a seperate /boot partition?

If you have not actually written anything to the HD yet you still might be able to use a rescue disk or CD to repair the disk using fsck.

Hey! thanks alot I didn't know that the CD had a repair option on it that worked fine and i didn't have to reinstall linux
