Jedi Outcast Server Settings...

Hello,

Im trying to get a Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast Server Going off a Linux Box. Im running Red Hat 7.3 and I have all the files needed for the linux server portion of the game. However I am in need of assistance on the "server.cfg" file. Im not sure how to configure it.

All I could find anywhere is the README.txt from RavenSoft about the Linux DS...

Could you post the config file, maybe one of us could translate it :)


Look around for Quake3 server configs also...it's the same game engine

I am having the same issues.... there is very little out there on hosting a linux server for JK2OC. If you come up with anything please let me know.

I do know that the games uses ports
UDP 28060-28062 and 28070-28081

I found that if you increase the ports to
UDP 28060-28500 this will allow about 6 to 8 people join

If you want others to see/connect you from Game Spy and in-game browser forward port
UDP 28060

So that is about it.... Let me know what you fond out ;}
