I got the iso's all burned and md5 checks out good. The installation goes fine from the begining... lets me set everything up. Then about 1/3 of the way through when it's copying the files, it opens the cd tray like it wants you to put the next disk in (next being the 2nd one) and crashes. The system speaker starts going crazy and all sorts of wierd sounds are comming out. I have a 1800+ tbird with a MSI ultra 3 mother board. The first time it wouldn't boot up after the crash and i had to flash the bios inorder to boot. The next time it crashed at the exact same time, but this time i was runing at 100 mghz fsb rather than 133... so i was able to restart it just fine. Any idea what it might be? I think it's happening during the cd swap... unless it's just really picky and spits that one out when something goes really wrong. No error message or anything is given. Thanks

I would try burning another cd as a first step. If the md5sum checks then the download is good but that doesn't mean the cd burned without errors. You could make an iso from the burned cd and that iso should have the same md5sum if it is a good cd.
