RH 7.3 install does not work

it gets up to the 2 ide devices, just b4 it is meant to cls, and show something about loading anaconda.

have tried

none work!

this is starting to get under thy skin, and i do not like that.

either, i misread da manual, or i been told wrong, but i get the message that my pc should run it no problem, and this is the computer i have 95b sitting happily on, as well as flash 6, and other toys..

pc specs:

65536 kb edo
3400 mb hdd -maxtor
p200 MMX processor - no fdiv bug
lucent winmodem
intel eitherlink pro - for the bnc
and a user with one bad attitude!

on previous attempts to install via lan, it did not have my lan card listed, maybe that is problem - but i doubt it cos it is not in use.

so, um, help?

Have4 you disabled plaug and play in your BIOS?

um, it was disabled, and i tried to install, again (no change), but it crashes.

i enabled the ' PnP OS installed ' option, and tried again - no luck.

maybe windows 95b has infected my computer, in a nasty way, if so, how do i disinfect bill's virus, without losing 95 (i still use it), and install linux?

hmm, come to think about it, i think i will start at a basic box, and install additional devices as needed.

What are the minimum requirements for Redhat 7.3?

Isn't it something like 128MB?

um, i fail to see how that would affect the install portion - the installer started on a p100 with 32, but it bombed when it came to going to cd #2

maybe the sis 5513 chipset is not supported? (thats what the text b4 it crashes calls it)

and it also assigns a device 01.1 to irq 14, the same irg as my primary ide slot! - whats up with that?
