Hello.. I'm trying to make 3 partitions out of my HDD, which are:

- C:\ main for windows xp and other stuff.
- ext2 for RedHat 7.3.
- Linux swap partition.

I'm using Partition Magic and when I have setup my partitions (resizing C:, creating ext2 for linux and then making the swap partition) I get a problem after rebooting.

The status:

About to execute C:\windows\system32\pq_bat.pq (*or something like that*)

Starting batch execution...
Error 2003 while executing Batch.
Error 2003: File size does not match FAT allocation for file.

What's my problem?

If it's nessecary to look at an image of the partitioning then go to:

Please help me! Thanks in advance!

That looks like a Partition Magic error message.

Have you tried searching at www.powerquest.com for that error? Is it in your PM manual?

Did the repartitioning finish successfully?

Can you see what the contents of pq_bat.pq is?
