error loading ramdisk

I get an error loading ramdisk in Mandrake 7.2 is there anything I can do to fix this?

For some reason or another it actually loaded :D I don't know how but it did we'll see what happens?

Now I get a message that says an error occured unable to parse /mnt/var/lib/urpmi/hdlist/.cdr om1.cz what does that mean?

I've seen that error posted here a few times.

It either indicates there is a problem with your hardware or the installation media is bad.

Also check the Mandrake support site for that error message.
