problems for the professionals

ok here is my problem

i live behind a fire wall and i cant surf alot of sites such as yahoo and hotmail and i cant use the voice chat or web cam in yahoo and i have to put in the explorer that iam using a proxy (proxy.net.sy 8080)without it there is no connection so i used the sneakby 3.5 program but it is shareware and even though i cant voicechat or web cam so what can i do ? please help

p.s iam new to linux so explain me pls in win xp ..

Is this a personal firewall?
If not theres not much you can do other then use that sneak bye app.

Sounds like the admin closed all the ports other then what he thinks is the basic.

Also your ISP could be doing some content filitering, and this is why you need to use that proxy.

it is not a personla firewall it is a fw that the government put to the service so all my ppl in my town cant use the voice chat or surf freely ...
that sux ha ?
but what else i can do without the sneak by app?????
