Apache Error

I am new to Linux and to Apache. Am attempting to setup Apache2. After installation I am receiving the following error upon starting apache:
/usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libaprutil.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

If anyone has any insight into this I sure would appreciate some assistance.

Whats information does: #locate libaprutil.so.0 provide?
You may need to do a updatedb first.
