Basics of Tabbing
The first thing to remember is that ALL tab manipulation actions use the third mouse button. So, to start, pick two windows that you'd like to group together. Third-click on the tab for the first one, and drag it onto the tab for the second. Congratulations, they're stuck together! You can use the tabs now to switch between the two windows.

For starters, what's "third click"? That one really threw me off...i don't understand what tabs are or what they do? maybe because if i found out what a third click was then i could use tabs and learn the purpose of them...but until then, --what's a third click?

Click with the third button, ie right click if you are using a right handed mouse.

Make sure you have third button emulation turned on in your xf86config.I have a wheel mouse so I can click on the wheel which acts as the third button.I think clicking the left and right button at the same time acts as a third button too.
