Hi folks,
I have road runner and I setup an alias email for my roommate. Well I use Kmail and it usually works great for me but for my roomie he can't send to other email accounts. What is really strange is that it he can send to hotmail, yahoo or msn but for aol, roadrunner or my email at work it just goes into email never never land? no error messages nothing, no return email nothing ?! He can recieve email just fine but sending is the problem.
What gives ? So incoming is fine setup with popserver, outgoing I setup with sendmail and it's fine with me but for him something is wrong......
What might be happening here ? Don't forget he can get mail and he can send to outside email accounts like yahoo or msn.......I set him up with his own logon and he liked linux initially because I elimated all the crashing/viruses we had with 98 but he is now telling people "my email was fine until he loaded linux" UUUHHHHH
Help me save my own reputation here, I'm supposed to be so good with this kind of thing and I'm looking kind of sappy here......
