Title of the post a bit misleading as I havent got that far yet!
I have hold of all 3 correctly burnt iso images (using Roxio Easy CD Creator) and the discs look fine after browsing through them. All MD5SUMS are cool also.
However, when I reboot with the first cd-rom in the drive all I get is the option of which OS I want to go into (I have RH7.2 and Windoze'98) i.e. Grub appears without the disc getting a look in!
I checked my BIOS settings to see if it boots from cd first, which it does (which I knew anyway as I installed RH7.2 the same way I'm trying to get it to upgrade to 7.3).
So, next I try to get the f***er to boot using a boot disc. It starts to do this and then says the disc isn't working properly. It was about two months ago (i know diskettes are notoriously dodgy tho :)
I downloaded the images from www.mirror.ac.uk - has anyone had any problems with stuff from there? Am I being amazingly stoopid or am I just having a semi-n00bs bad luck?
Thanks in advance.
