You don't know simple math?

There was a guy that i voted 5 stars. He had already 3 stars and 1 vote. After i voted him, he had still 3 stars. Isn't the math like this: (3+5)/2=4??? Why did he have still 3? And DON'T think i'm stupid just because i use Windows: yes i didn't look at the rating in his old post, i did click his profile and it said 3 stars and 2 votes. :confused:

It looks like a bug but who knows. Did you just ignore my vote or do you use some Linux math in calculating average?

Was that really necessary. I mean the Windows refrence could possible be a joke or something. And he does bring up a point, their is obviously some screwed up math going along in the rating system. Possibly its weighted. I honstly have no clue. But serious, lets try to be nice. I've noticed a lot of animosity towards people in these forms lately, and so who cares if he is a troll. Let him continue off in his unenlightened ways. It's his lost not ours.

it is broke

LNO switched to a new version of UBB 'bout 6 weeks ago (?) and the rating thing is new and don't work quite right, just sorta ignore it. if you want to see an accurate tally, then click the little profile icon, it seems to always be correct
