Bad math skills!

I checked a user's profile and saw that he had a 1-star rating with one vote cast.

I voted him a 5.

I checked his profile again, and it showed two votes cast... with an average rating of two starts.

(1 + 5) / 2 = 3

That's what I was raised to believe.

Either that's a bug, or the board is using some advanced AI quadratic evaluation algorythm that nobody knows about.

The user was "zGoRNz", if you want to check the profile.

I have reached the conclusion that it's not arithmetic, and it's not an advanced AI quadratic evaluation algorithm. I think it's totally random.

There's a lot here to fix...

I rarely come here anymore because it just seems like such an abandoned site. The BB rocks, don't get me wrong, but very little else has been done in the last year or so.
